Praise the Lord,
At Apostolic Pentecostal Church we have a motto or saying, "Where Love, Fellowship and Unity are Practiced." We can look back over the month of February ad see these three, Love, Fellowship and Unity practiced.
Unity! We are always so thankful to come together in unity prayer with Faith Apostolic Church. This monthly prayer meeting joins hearts and souls together in the power of prayer. What better way to tear down the strongholds of the enemy than to pray together with people of like precious faith. God has and continues to move on impossible situations.
Fellowship! Throughout the month of February our different youth departments held special events for their youth group. The Pre-Teen group under the leadership of Bro. Josh and Sis. Chelsey Rea held a "Game Night" fundraiser. The young people served a meal and had different video and board games for everyone to play. The funds raised through this event went to help the young people attend Church Camp coming up in early June. APCGI is also excited to congratulate Bro. and Sis. Rea on the announcement that they will grow their family as they are expecting twins in September.
The 8 and under youth group led by Bro. Mike and Sis. Donna Miles held their annual J.A.M Friendship Party. J.A.M stands for Jesus and Me. The young people enjoyed an afternoon to share in the love and fellowship of friends.
The Young Adult group led by Bro. Travis and Sis. Angie Jones had a dinner and game night. The young people were joined by Pastor Joe and Sis. Kim Riggs in this fun filled night of food and Christian Song charades.
Lastly, what better way to come in Unity and Fellowship than with the United Apostolic Church of Jesus Christs Unity Fellowship Meeting held in Indianapolis. Thank you to Pastor Terry Cannon and the Heavenly Life Apostolic Tabernacle assembly for hosting a wonderful fellowship meeting. Thank you to everyone that rode the bus and traveled this event.
We shared in the Unity and Fellowship at APCGI, but we must tell you about an important thing, Love. The secular world sees February as the month of love with having Valentines Day. What better way to see February and every day than by the love of Christ? The Bible states in John 3: 16 (King James Version) "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
