Wow! How quickly 2019 is moving along. It seemed like yesterday we were bringing in the New Year, now we are ending July and charging into August.
One of our biggest ministry outreaches at Apostolic Pentecostal Church is Vacation Bible School. VBS is 5 nights of fun filled activities, crafts, snacks and most importantly the Word of the Lord designed for youth ages 12 and under. This years VBS theme was "God's MVP's". Throughout the week our MVP's learned how to be the Most Valuable Praisers, Pillars, Prayer Warriors, Preachers and People/Person. Everyone had a wonderful time in worship and learning about being an MVP for the Lord. Immediately following VBS we held our annual Backpack Bash. APCGI was blessed to help supply school supplies to over 300 students in and around the Hancock County area. Thank you to all the APCGI members as well as our MVP's for making VBS week an amazing time in the Lord. GAME ON!
Vacation Bible School may happen for 5 days in July, but it also happens year-round. VBS Wednesday takes place throughout the month in our Kenneth E. Brown Fellowship Hall. This VBS style service is designed for our 12 and under youth group. Each young person will hear the gospel of the Lord, eat a provided snack and worship the King of Kings. Why wait till July for VBS? You can have VBS every week! If a ride is needed, please contact our Bus Ministry team at 317-496-6845.
