October Wrap Up

Prasie the Lord!

It is such a beautiful time of the year. The cooler temperuaters and changing colors in the trees. The book of Ecclesiastes 3:1 "To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven."  How marvoulus are the works of the Lord and His great power.

The month of October started with prepartions for the annual James W. Riley Festival held here in Greenfield. The past several years APCGI has been represented with the Heart and Soul craft booth as well as the Philippian Mission Food Truck by Jumbo Concessions. APCGI also took part in the Festival Parade, winning this years float design competion. APCGI was honored to take part in Sunday's activites at the Gazebo. Our praise team, Steadfast, along with our sign choir spent time singing and magnifyiing the Lord in sign. Thank you to everyone at APCGI that made this time of fellowship in our community a success.

The middle of October we held our Bible Study Revival with Bro. Bobby Killmon. Bro. Killmon is the Dean of Biblical Studies at Indiana Bible College in Indianapolis. This revival is always a time of renewing and gleaning from the Word of the Lord.  We are greatful for the Killmon Family and their dedication to the service of the Lord.

As we ended the month of October we had a very busy weekend. On Friday the 26th we traveled to Munice for the United Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ Fellowship Meeting. The fellowship meeting was preached by our very own Bro. Paul Leyte. Bro. Leyte and his family did a wonderful job sharing in the joy and Word of the Lord. The next day on the 27th the Teens ventured to Anderson Orchard then to Sis. Ella Riggs home for a bonfire and time of fellowship. We ended the weekend on the 28th with the Youth Department having a spagetti dinner fundraiser to help raise funds for future activties. Thank you to the Youth Department for fixing a wonderful dinner.

Last but not least we had Youth Service on the 31st. We were blessed to have Indiana Bible College's Ministerial Student Association in service with us. We are thankful for the several students in attendancce who ministered in song and Word. It is always a blessing to see young people serving the Lord. Serving the Lord may not be the most popular thing to do among young people, but it is the most important thing.

As it is always stated at APCGI "there is some thing for everyone." If you are in need of to ride to Sunday School or Wednesday-Bible Study/VBS Wednesday please call the Bus Ministry Hotline a.k.a APCGI phone number at 317-496-6845. Please keep up to date with our calendar.

Have a wonderful Fall and holiday season! God Bless
