April News- The Joy of the Lord

Thursday, May 2, 2019 •

Praise the Lord,

                                                       Proverbs 25:25 King James Version

"As cold waters to a thirty soul, so is good news from a far country."

The joy of the Lord is greatly to be praised. We are happy to share in the good news at Apostolic Pentecostal Church in Greenfield, Indiana.

We were happy to share with friends and family the Resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Easter Sunday. Our praise team, Steadfast, joined together in worship with our sign team to magnify and praise the Lord. The young people and adults shared their testimonies of deliverance, hope and forgiveness through Cardboard Testimonies. How wonderful it is to serve a God who forgives and loves us unconditionally. Importantly, He changes our lives! Our Pastor, Bro. Joe Riggs preached an anointed message on who Jesus died for. We are blessed to know that Jesus sacrificed himself by dying on the cross and resurrecting from the grave so that we might be saved. Jesus died for you. He rose from the grave for you. Jesus is and will always be there for you.

APCGI was blessed to have Bro. Chris Barber and his family with us in service. Bro. Barber is the United Pentecostal Church International Indiana District Youth Leader. We are thankful to be able to join with brothers and sisters of like precious faith to worship a mighty God. Bro. Barber and his family will be in service with us on August 23, 2019 as APCGI hosts the United Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ, Inc. Restoration Conference.

We are thankful to continue in prayer with the saints at Faith Apostolic as well as Pastor Mike Faulk and the saints of New Life Church. We also are thankful to join together with our friends at Golden Living Center-Brandywine each month. Bro. Paul and Sis. Lorna Leyte, APCGI Outreach Coordinators, do an awesome job leading this service.

We hope that every one enjoyed the chocolate crosses that were passed out on Resurrection Sunday. Thank you to all of the saints of APCGI who helped make this year chocolate crosses a success. Thank you to the APCGI brothers who cooked an amazing dinner for our MA and Pa Kettle dinner. Thank you brothers!

Don't worry if you missed out on the chocolate crosses or even the Ma and Pa Kettle dinner. We have breakfast every Sunday starting at 9:00am and serving till Sunday School at 10:00am. Remember the church van runs every Wednesday and Sunday.

Please join us in service and keep up to date by viewing our calendar and social media updates. If you need a ride on the van please call 317-496-6845.

May God continue to bless each and every one of you! Until next time. God Bless!
