Youth

APCGI provides activities for youth of all ages, all of which are dedicated to teaching our youth about God, salvation, the Bible, and living morally while providing an atmosphere of fun and fellowship.

Our Sunday School offers our youth a wonderful opportunity to learn about Jesus Christ and His love for us. Each class is divided into age groups from infant to adult. Our passionate Sunday School teachers instill biblical principles and address topics appropriate for each age group. In our younger classes there are arts and crafts that create a fun learning experience while teaching about Jesus and salvation.

On Wednesday nights while the adults are in Bible Study, those twelve and under have their own VBS Wednesday service. In their service, they enjoy snacks along with arts and crafts. They lead in prayer, sing songs, share testimonies and have interactive bible lessons in a Vacation Bible School format.

Once a month, the Teen and Young Adult groups come together for Youth Alive. This is a great time for the young people to build leadership and skills in teaching, worship leading, prayer, and other activities that they can build on together.

On the last Wednesday of each month, we have a full Youth service in the main facility.Our Youth Service is much like our Sunday night evangelistic service with one notable difference it is conducted by our youth team. We have youth praise teams, sign choirs, and it allows our young ministers an opportunity to preach God's Word.

In July, we have a fantastic Vacation Bible School and Backpack Bash!

VBS is a great opportunity for our church to reach out to the youth of our community and share God's love. There are songs that get us out of seats, puppets, games, crafts, science labs, and scrumptious snacks. All of this while learning about Jesus.

At the end of VBS week, we have a day to spend with our neighbors as they bless us by coming to fellowship with us and receive school supplies. It is one of our favorite days of the year.

Besides all of these activities there are trips to various fun destinations, Youth Chat, cookouts, Youth Conference, Church Camp and much more.

APCGI truly believes that the youth are not just the next church in waiting but an important part of today's church.
