It is with immense joy and excitement that we report of the work of the Lord.
The month of June began a Summer filled with exciting services and outreach programs for all ages.
The Sunday School department had its annual Sunday School Picnic and Praise in the Park. Before heading to Riley Park, we celebrated Sunday School Superintendent Day, honoring Bro. Travis Jones and his labor for the work of the Lord.
We are thankful for everyone that attended our Sunday School Picnic and Praise in the Park. It is always a blessing to fellowship with our church family and all of our visitors that attended. With the conclusion of Praise in the Park several APCGI member attended the United Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ annual Camp and Convention in Frankfort, Indiana.
The theme for Camp this year was "A Chosen Generation." We were thankful for several first-time attendees to camp this year from APCGI. We are extremely thankful that while at Church Camp three of our young people received the gift of the Holy Ghost. Bro. Nathanial Fox; Sis. Ashton Jones and Sis. Sarah Jones all received this beautiful gift for the first time. Also, while at Camp our young people earned top honors in Bible Quizzing. Sis. Ashton and Sis. Sarah won first place for Junior Bible Quizzing and Sis Jada Storms and Bro. Paul Storms won for first place for the senior team. Congratulations on your hard work and dedication to the Word of the Lord.
