Praise the Lord from APCGI!
The month of September was active for APCGI . We are so excited to be able to share of God's salvation and grace to all who will hear.
As always, we were blessed to be in prayer with Faith Apostolic in our monthly Unity Prayer Meeting. There is always a powerful move of the Holy Ghost as we hold service with the residence and staff during our Nursing Home Ministry service at the Golden Living Center-Brandywine.
The Youth Department held a Youth Game Night to help raise funds for upcoming events. Youth an established saints alike played ping pong; X-Box and our Pastor's Wife Sis. Kim Riggs was caught playing Pac Man on a retro Atari game set. Thank you to everyone who attended and who made this evening a success for the Youth Department.
APCGI hosted the United Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ Youth Explosion. Bro. Georgeon Pedigo preached a timely message on the subject of potential. Afterwards the youth went to the Boys and Girls Club of Hancock County for fun and fellowship.
APCGI was invited to take part in the Love Inc. of Hancock County Church Expo and 5K walk. The crisp air and the start of Fall was a beautiful time to spread the gospel of Jesus. At the conclusion of the 5K walk Steadfast along with our sign choir, Hands of God were asked to minister in song and sign. Thank you to Love Inc. for extending this invention to APCGI. We can not wait to do this again in 2019.
We ended the month of September with a very busy weekend for our Youth and Sunday School Department the Teen and Pre-Teens joined members of Drakesboro Holiness Church and the Pentecostals of Muhlenburg from Kentucky for fun at Holiday World. The next day APCGI had Super Sundae Sunday. The S.S. Department held Super Church. The young people were welcomed by an Olympic themed day filled with key ways to stay "Fit for the King." At the end of Sunday School everyone joined in a sweet treat for Sundae Sunday.
